How to fix no sound on Simolio devices with Netflix or Amazon Prime?

  When you’re ready to turn on the TV and watch your favorite show, discovering that your Simolio devices are no sound on Netflix or Amazon Prime can be quite frustrating. If you’re facing this issue, don’t worry! Simolio devices are dedicated to solving the problems you encounter when watching TV, providing an enhanced viewing experience for you. Common Causes of No Sound Issue

Connectivity Issues:

Occasional interference can prevent the 2.4GHz signal from connecting fully.

Audio Settings Configuration:

Misconfigured audio settings on the TV or streaming app may prevent sound output.

Firmware Compatibility:

Sometimes, TV or app updates may affect audio settings, requiring adjustments or reset.

Power or Battery Issues:

Low battery or a poor charge connection on your headphones can also disrupt sound output.

 

How to fix:

  1. Change a position to place the base, it should be placed at least 4 feet away from your Router/ smart WiFi TV/TV Sticks/WiFi TV Box to avoid interference.

 

  1. Make sure your transmitter is plugged into an correct AUDIO OUT port at the back of your TV. Confirm that the TV’s audio output is set to the correct option, often marked as “Headphones”or “External Speaker” under the audio settings menu.

 

  1. If you use optical audio connection, ensure TV Audio Format is set to “PCM”or “Dolby/DTS” is OFF. Start your Netflix / Amazon Prime Program on TV first. While your streaming service is open, get your TV remote and press Settings.

Take LG TVs for example: 

(1) Click Sound on setting page and set “Dolby/DTS” to be OFFif you TV has

 

 

 

(2) Select Sound >> Sound Out

 

 

(3) Set Digital Sound Out >> PCM

Take Samsung TVs for example:

(1) Set the Sound Out to Audio Out/Optical

(2) Go back to Sound Setting and go down to click Expert Settings

(3) Go to Digital Output Audio Format and set it to PCM.

For certain smart Samsung models, the TV is retaining separate settings for regular TV and internet TV setup. When you turn to the Smart Hub for Internet source, please use the TV remote to go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Audio Format or Digital Output Audio Format, then select PCM.
