The personal sound amplifier function is designed as an additional & unique feature to help hearing impaired people to temporarily hear what people are talking to him when watching TV.
Press the MIC button at the rear of the headset to pause the TV sound and turn to โpersonal sound amplifierโ mode, it will amplify the sound around, press it again to return to the wireless listening function. Note: It can't be replaced or used as a hearing aid.

The BALANCE control is specially designed for people with different hearing levels of the left and right ears. They can adjust the balance control as needed to best fit their listening requirements.
MONO/STEREO Option; TONE Switch
The MONO/STEREO switch is designed for different sound effect requirements. MONO is better for voice clarity, STEREO is better for music enjoyment.
The TONE switch is specially designed to deliver improved dialog clarity for people who have different sound frequency sensitiveness. Select Treble to enhance female voice and kidsโ voice, select Bass to enhance male voice.
Convenient Charging
For watching TV over 6 hours continuously, please choose model SM-824D1 or SM-824D2.
For protection of transmitter and power saving, the transmitter will go into standby automatically if there is no audio signal for 5 minutes, if there is no audio signal from the transmitter within 5 minutes, the headset will be shut off automatically. If the audio signal returns, the transmitter will be automatically re-start, but your have to restart the headset by switching it off then switching it on by hand.
TV/TV Related AV Devices' Connectivity
There are many pairs of red and white RCA jacks on the back of the TV /AV devices, but what we need must be labeled as AUDIO OUT/OUTPUT/AV OUT.
Connect to the 3.5mm audio out jack of your TV, which is usually a headphone port will disable your TVโs internal speakers, not suitable for watching TV with family, itโs better to try this function by a wired headphone before ordering. But if you have already has an external home stereo connected to the TV, then you donโt have to worry about this problem.
If you have a smart TV with only Optical output, or will be buying one in the future, please choose the SIMOLIO digital wireless headsets (SM-823D/SM-824D1/SM-824D2).
For TVs with only Coaxial output, you will need to purchase a DAC for installation.
For TVs with only HDMI (ARC) audio out, you will need to purchase an HDMI to RCA converter for installation.
For AV receivers with a 6.35mm phone jack at the front, you will need to purchase a 6.35mm to 3.5mm audio adapter for installation.
TV Sound Out Setting
Different TV manufacturers have their own definitions for the TVโs sound out. To make your SIMOLIO unit work well with your TV system, please check the sound out setting of your TV first.
If your TV only support single sound out, the TVโs speakers will be either automatically muted when you plug something into an audio out port (AUX, RCA, etc.) or they become disabled once you choose "External Speakers" as your TV's audio output. In this case, you can hook up the SIMOLIO unit to your other TV related AV device, such as cable box or purchase a sound bar + splitter for enjoying TV with your family.
The menus for sound out setting are not the same from different TV brands. please refer to your TV manual for details.
TV & TV Related AV Devices' Volume Setting
Sufficient sound output is needed to ensure Simolio working properly.
VOL.1 > 40%, VOL.2 > 30%, just for your reference. The bigger the VOL.1 and VOL.2, the better the S/N (Signal-to-Noise) of your Simolio unit.
Usually we suggest to fix the VOL.1 to a sufficient level, and adjust VOL.2 to control TV's volume.
If the audio output signal is too weak, it will cause the following problems:
1, No sound from the headset;
2, The sound of the headset cuts in and out;
3, The headset automatically shuts off every few minutes.
